We had a great time today busking at the Quay, next to Pacific Jewel who had docked. We played them off with an Abba Medley and they were very appreciative! Thankyou to everyone who donated and purchased a CD (or two), it’s much appreciated.
After visiting the Sydney City Council chambers and then the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority to collect our licenses, we ventured back to the Quay to begin. Parking in the Opera House car park is only $12 per day with the early bird special so it makes it very affordable to park there. We had some problems initially with our busking permit, we were told to stop (see photo below) until the name on the permit was corrected by a very apologetic council ranger. A quick call to the appropriate person and they ran down a new one for us. Excellent service!
Sydney is such a beautiful city, and all our spirits were lifted to be around the amazing harbour. We’ll be back in to try our luck tomorrow, initially at Circular Quay and possibly Pitt St Mall.
